What is ADD?

Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD), also known as ADD with inattention, ADD with hyperactivity, and ADD with mixed presentation, is a chronic neurodevelopmental disorder that affects an individual’s attentiveness, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. ADD often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships and difficulty at school or work. It is one of the most common disorders, affecting 1 in every 20 Australians.

How do I know if I have adult ADD?

Many of the symptoms for ADD or ADHD can be experienced by people without the disorder. While there are many self-tests available on the internet, we recommend contacting us, or calling us on 0410 045 134, to organise an assessment so we can work out how best to intervene and if medical intervention is also required.

Is it important to treat my ADD?

By finding and then exercising your weaker brain functions we will strengthen them so you can remember what you hear, pay attention, make a plan and stick to it, and process information speedily. If left untreated, there is a high risk of developing other mental disorders including anxiety and other mood disorders like depression.

What is the most effective treatment for ADD in adults?

Like many disorders, the treatment for ADD is far from the “one-size-fits-all” approach. There are three types of investments you’ll need to consider to participate in this program:

$1600 for a one-off assessment. This is a data-rich analysis that is required to participate in this program. The license fee is reused for the first exercise you do. As the year progresses, the license fee becomes dramatically cheaper and so does the assessment.

$495 ongoing monthly investment. This is general enrolment to continue participating in the program. This includes 3-hours of weekly classes and all access to exercises from home (online) or onsite if this is preferred.

How does the ADD Training program work?

Founded on neuroscientific research, this program is a non-pharmacological ADD intervention. Our program involves intensive and persistent mental exercises designed to permanently strengthen your neurological pathways and stop the behaviours that were used to give you the diagnosis of ADD.

To enrol, you’ll be requested to complete an Arrowsmith™️ program assessment. While it’s extensive, students will only need to complete the assessment once. It will be done over 2 sessions. At the end of each year we will retest the brain function you exercised to see how much stronger it has become. It’s always exciting to see your results.
